Sites of historical and religious importance, sites of cultural interest including a superb collection of galleries and museums, and beautiful architectural sights are all offered, as well as a plethora of areas of natural beauty. There is the Palace of the Grand Dukes, the National Museum of Art and History, the Citadel of the Holy Spirit, the Church of St. John the Baptist,Notre Dame Cathedral, the Museum of Natural History, and the Casemates du Bock - all cheap or free attractions that will be of interest to most culture vultures and sightseers, and shouldn’t impact too heavily on a stretched budget. Bock is a rocky peninsula that protrudes out dramatically over the Pétrusse Valley, and the Casemates are a system of tortuously connected subterranean galleries that cover a 17km area of ground. Both are decidedly recommended tourist attractions, with entrance to the Casemates costing very little. The Passerelle (Viaduc) is a 19th Century bridge in Luxembourg that traverses the valley of the Pétrusse, a beautiful park in the city.
