Kenya’s capital Nairobi is famous for being one of Africa’s largest and most interesting cities.  Kenvatta Avenue is the city’s most famous tourist draw, featuring a broad avenue bordered by trees and flowers that was originally designed to facilitate a traditional twelve-oxen team.  The city features several museums and places of interest including the National Museum and Snake Park.  While in town, be sure to pay a visit to Langata Giraffe Centre where it’s possible to hand-feed the Rothshild giraffes that are native to the area.
