Renting a Car in Croatia
The biggest tourist-puller in Croatia is without question its stunning Dalmatian coastline. Featuring craggy cliffs, idyllic promontories and peninsulas, and secluded coves and inlets, the coast of Croatia is a luxurious but low cost location with cheap and budget-friendly accommodation easily found. The cities of Dubrovnik (Croatia’s capital), Zagreb and Split are also enjoying the recent tourism boom and have plenty to offer visitors and will provide culture-lovers and city sightseers with some fantastic options. Split and Dubrovnik have the added incentive for tourists of being coastal cities, so that a city and beach holiday can be combined. Zagreb is surrounded by land in the north of the country and offers a totally different vibe – trendy, cosmopolitan and culturally rich, it is a wonderful destination for a cheap city break or as a low cost base city from which to explore the surrounding Croatian countryside.
